"Super easy to get to"
Like I said, the location was really easy for me to get to, and having parking nearby made a big difference. Like I said, it just made going to classes feel way less stressful.

"Okay group class, just not the best fit for us"
We took our young dog to the group class, and overall it had a positive, patient vibe. The trainer came across as kind and knowledgeable, and the techniques made sense to me. That said, the class felt a little too busy at times, and with my dog being more energetic, it was hard not to feel like we were getting a bit lost in the crowd.

He did pick up a few basics, so I definitely wouldn’t say it was a waste. I just got the sense that the setup is probably better for calmer dogs who can settle in more easily. If we go back, I’d probably lean toward private lessons so we can get more direct help.

"Really friendly group, honestly felt welcome"
The people here are really nice, and, you know, it felt easy to ask questions without feeling awkward or anything.

"I liked that this wasn’t just about..."
I liked that this wasn’t just about training the dog, but also about teaching me what I was doing without even realizing it. Some of it was a little basic, kind of like when you read the instructions for something you mostly already know how to use, but still find one tip that makes you go, oh, okay. It helped me pay more attention to my own habits and be a lot more patient, which is useful in general, not just with dogs. I swear patience is the same skill you need when waiting for coffee to brew in the morning. Overall, helpful and worth going through.

"Trainer definitely knew their stuff, but it felt a bit uneven"
The trainer clearly had a lot of experience and knew what they were talking about, but some sessions felt kind of rushed. I got helpful tips, for SURE, but the pacing wasn’t always consistent, so it was a little hit or miss for me.

"Helpful advice, but I was nervous after paying"
I liked that the advice actually felt specific to my dog and not just the same generic tips you hear everywhere. They listened to what was happening at home and gave me a few small steps to try, which made it feel more manageable. I’ll admit, after I paid I got a bit distrustful and wondered if I’d actually get anything useful, but the session ended up feeling calm, personal, and not judgey at all. We’re still working on things, but our walks are already getting better

"I walked in and pretty much assumed..."
I walked in and pretty much assumed the place was well taken care of right away. The floors and rooms looked really clean, and I didn’t notice any dog smell at all.

"Helpful stuff that actually made sense"
I started watching the training videos one evening after dinner, mostly because my dog had been ignoring me all week and I was tired. They were really easy to follow, and after a few days I noticed he was actually listening better. I also liked that the whole approach felt calm and not pushy, which made it easier to stick with

"Some progress, but still not quite there"
We tried Ahimsa to help with our reactive dog, and uh, I’d say we did see some progress. Walks feel a little more manageable now, and we’re better at handling triggers than we were before. That said, it took longer than we were hoping, and the changes haven’t been as big as I expected. The trainer was kind and really patient, which I appreciated, but I guess I just thought we’d be a bit further along by now. Not a bad experience, just kind of mixed for us.

"Calm, safe experience for my dog"
My dog stayed relaxed the whole time, which says a lot. Nothing felt rushed, and they were really mindful about safety and giving him space when he needed it. I appreciated that they didn’t push him past his comfort level, because that kind of stress is totally avoidable. Overall, it felt calm and well handled, and I’d definitely go back.

"I had a mixed experience with Ahimsa..."
I had a mixed experience with Ahimsa Dog Training. The staff seemed genuinely friendly when they got back to me, and they were able to answer my basic questions without making me feel rushed.

The main issue was the response time. I had to follow up more than once just to sort out scheduling, which got frustrating because I was trying to plan around my work schedule. Compared to a couple of other dog training places I’ve contacted, Ahimsa felt a bit less organized on the communication side.
That said, the training information itself seemed helpful, and no one was ever rude or dismissive. I wouldn’t call it a bad experience, but I do think they could really improve by replying faster and making the scheduling process smoother.

"Fair pricing, no sneaky fees"
I was a little worried there would be some random extra charges tacked on at the end, but the price ended up being fair and exactly what I expected. Just a heads up if you’re comparing places: watch out for companies that look cheap upfront but add weird fees later. I didn’t run into that here.

"That private lesson was honestly worth it"
I did one private lesson for my reactive pup, it helped way more than all the weeks I spent trying to figure things out online. The trainer was patient, the price felt fair, and we left with actual clear things to work on at home. Like, finally, it felt manageable.

"I was surprised by how well..."
I was surprised by how well everything is put together. The lessons build in a way that actually makes sense, without jumping all over the place. I’ve been doing it at home with my dog, and it’s easy to follow and remember what to work on next. Definitely feels like a course I’d recommend to other dog owners.

"So... we tried Ahimsa to help..."
So... we tried Ahimsa to help with our dog’s separation anxiety, and overall it did help a bit. The trainer was really kind and gave us some practical steps for slowly getting our dog used to us leaving the house. Some of the advice definitely made sense, and we did notice our dog getting a little calmer over time.
That said, it was expensive, and the progress felt slow. I also would’ve appreciated more follow-up between sessions, especially when we weren’t sure if we were doing things right. It wasn’t a bad experience, just kind of mixed for us

"Pretty okay overall"
It did help, but it definitely took some time to really notice a difference. It wasn’t like one of those things where you use it once and suddenly everything is fixed, like a magic cleaner, a quick phone reset, or tossing a blanket over a messy chair before guests come over. I had to stick with it for a while, kind of like waiting for a slow download, letting bread rise, or giving a new pair of shoes time to break in. Overall, I’d say it was okay and worth trying, just don’t expect super fast results.

"Helpful ideas, but more stressful than I expected"
The course had some useful ideas, and I did take a few good things away from it. But a few of the lessons dragged on longer than they needed to, which made it harder to stay focused. I also kept wishing there were more real examples to help the points actually click. It ended up feeling a bit more stressful than I expected, mostly because I was trying to keep up while waiting for the practical parts to show up.

"Made walks way less stressful"
I assumed this wouldn’t change much because my dog barks at everything on walks, but I was wrong. It’s helped us handle those reactive moments so much better, and walks feel a lot more manageable now

"So glad we found this training support"
We started with Ahimsa because we were feeling stuck with our dog’s pulling and barking on walks. The training was simple to follow, and I really appreciated that nothing felt harsh, forceful, or strange, it just felt like a kinder way to understand our dog.

Things didn’t change magically overnight, but we’ve definitely noticed our dog is calmer, and we feel a lot more confident too. Walks are finally starting to feel enjoyable instead of stressful, and that means so much to us. I’m genuinely really grateful we gave them a try

"Patient trainer, just a little slow"
The trainer was really patient with my nervous dog, which I definitely appreciated. Some of the sessions did feel a bit slow though, and sometimes I wasn’t totally sure what I was supposed to work on at home after all that. It was okay overall, just could’ve used a little more direction here and there.
